In Italy spandex is not more used by women. They prefer cotton. When I have been some years ago in Cuba and riot de junior (Brazil) I remember many, many women with spandex tight (more prostitutes) in the streets but in the Latin countries spandex is more used every days by women. You know? I would assume Latin America, specifically countries in South America like Argentina. Germany seems high on the list too. I mean, the united States, leggings have made a comeback, but it’s mostly black leggings. What I’m thinking more along the lines of, is countries that wear a variety of colors and styles of spandex, and spandex that are also shiny. I lived in Japan, and although spandex is common among athletes, it’s not common among the general population. I rarely saw women in spandex there.
Sometimes ago, I have read that in 2007 in England spandex having much more happening to women non in the sport but in every days mode. I remember dude that said in London many women and girls wear shiny spandex tight under their short jackets and walk on the streets, come in the pubs, disco etc. I have had some times ago a Russian girlfriend and she wore shiny spandex tight to make shopping. She was very sexy with spandex tight under her short jackets with riding boots. Unfortunately I don’t have pics of her. Well, I think …we must go to living in UK? I dream of living in a country where spandex is much diffusing, every day, in every situation!
I can’t speak for the rest of Canada, here in Victoria, I see it all day everyday and all kinds. From leggings to kickers (between Capri’s and knee height) I live on a jogging/running/walking route and I tell you, it’s a wonderful sight. As you may have heard me say, Lulu lemon is really huge. Let’s just say that the store sees 6x the profit it’s so huge here. I should have bought share when it was at a low. I am looking to buy a zentai for both myself and my boyfriend and was hoping someone might be able to answer a few questions for me? Firstly, could anyone recommend a UK intrnet shop that sells zentai suits promptly and discretely? Also, regarding sizing, are sizes usually factored for tightness. I.e. I am dress size 8 so if I order a size 8 will it be totally skin tight, or should I order a size smaller? Also, for my boyfriend, he is 6ft tall and about 13 stone, so not sure about sizing for him.
I wouldn’t be able to tell you about which shops to go to, but I can advise you on sizing: Don’t go with dress sizes! The best way to order zentai is to have it custom-sized to your specific measurements. When you find a suitable seller/shop, ask them about custom sizing and what measurements they want. Most will usually want basic measurements of height, weight/mass, headband size, bust, and waist, hips, inseam and arm length. Some might get a bit more elaborate to get that perfect, like-a-glove fit. Now, custom fitting might cost a bit more, but it’s worth it if you want a true skin-tight fit.
I buy by pre-made sizes. Whenever I receive my zentai suits, they are in white plan packages with the delivery tag on the outside. Now if you’re a dress size 8 that would depend on your girth. I started out with a small because when it comes to spandex I take ladies extra small. I found with a small I couldn’t move to well and the threads ripped. I then tried a medium and found I had more room to play, but still had ripped a few threads. I then picked up a large and found that some parts have baggy spandex hanging and I don’t like that. So if you’re just going by the standard sizes, get a size up from what you think you need.
